Hi! I’m Elle,

My passion for yoga started years ago when I was in university. Like many other yoga practitioners, I came to yoga to find elegance, flexibility, and a certain sense of authority over my body I did not feel I had. I wanted to be like the yoga girls on instagram, who seemed to have it all: femininity, strength, and grace. 

However, after having devoted myself to this practice for years now, I have stayed for much more than elegance and beauty. Which in the end, are factors driven by the very same ego that yoga seeks to transcend. Yoga and it’s endless teachings have become a transformative practice for me, helping me reframe my understanding of my body and myself. It has taught me to reach for more, to embrace the true discomfort of growth and self reflection. And that I can be whoever and whatever I want to be. 

As a yoga teacher, there is nothing that compares to the joy of seeing my students’ faces after practice. Whether it was a fiery, sweat-drenched session or a relaxing and rejuvenating practice, passing on the practice that has given and continues to give me so much is what stokes my fire and holds my heart.
